Stoneshield™ Marble Base Crystalliser is a machine-applied penetrating hardener and densifier for marble, travertine, limestone and terrazzo. It is designed to reduce surface porosity, harden the stone and improve resistance to surface wear without creating a glossy finish.

It is particularly useful on unpolished, honed and natural stone surfaces where a matt or non-gloss finish is required. Marble Base Crystalliser can also be used as a preparation treatment before applying a suitable penetrating sealer or stone repellent.

What Is Marble Base Crystalliser?

Marble Base Crystalliser is a penetrating stone-treatment product designed to harden and densify suitable natural stone surfaces. Unlike a conventional marble polishing or crystallising treatment intended to create a glossy finish, STONESHIELD™ Marble Base Crystalliser is intended for applications where the desired result is a matt or non-gloss surface.

The treatment works below the immediate surface to reduce porosity, increase surface hardness and improve resistance to wear. It can be used on marble, travertine, limestone and terrazzo and is suitable for both internal and external applications.
